Purpose: To feed as a supplement with dry feed and roughages to elevate the fibre digestibility and efficiency of utilisation of farm-produced forages.

Product Description:

AusGain HiPro is a palatable molasses-based liquid feed supplement designed to be fed free access to cattle under dry pasture, roughage, stubble and drought conditions. The product incorporates a dynamic balance of nutritional components designed to control consumption to within desired levels and to favour an efficient little and often intake regime.

AusGain HiPro Liquid contains 27% crude protein together with a balance of essential minerals, trace elements and vitamins. Bovatec® is also added to promote growth and feed efficiency and as a general aid to animal health.

Human food grade molasses provides the main vehicle to carry nutrients into the animal and promote regular consumption, whilst salt and other nutritious components act to control overall intake.

Feeding Instructions:

Offer AusGain HiPro free access in polypropylene 500 litre tubs. The duration of supplementation will depend on the quality and quantity of pasture and roughage available.

Use one tub for 40 – 50 animals. AusMix offers tubs on a loan basis

It is advisable to place tubs of AusGain HiPro in positions in the paddock that are well away from or diametrically opposite to the water source.

Roughage in the paddock must be available and plentiful. Note that cattle often struggle to consume standing stubble. Shortage of available and palatable feed can lead to over consumption of product. 

In event of occasional over-consumption, budget feeding is recommended. This means, feed the amounts indicated in the table below. Replenish with new material only when the theoretical time is right for new material even if the animals are without product for a few days!
