Purpose: AusMin HiMag is an economic and convenient complete supplement, rich in magnesium, designed to be fed to sheep or cattle at times of magnesium deficiency and grass tetany and other nutritional deficiencies associated with fresh pasture and grazed cereal crops.

Can be fed free access or included in mixed rations.

Product Description: A palatable, molassed, dry, dust free, semi granular feed supplement. It appears as a light coffee colour.

It is salty to the taste and has distinct sweet molasses odour.

• Molassed to control dust and product losses and limit segregation in mixed feeds
• Partly granular to reduce separation
• Waterproofed to reduce weather damage and leaching
• Contains high levels of salt, calcium and phosphorus to assist in magnesium absorption.
• Contains optimum levels of essential minerals and trace elements necessary for optimum growth and performance at pasture.
• Contains high levels of magnesium from 4 sources to meet the animals’ high demand of late pregnancy and lactation.
• Magnesium sources have different release rates thereby giving a broader cover of magnesium uptake.
• Contains bentonite to help to control loose faeces at fresh pasture

• Feeding Instructions:

Mixed Rations:-

Mix thoroughly together with other ingredients to make a complete mixed ration at a rate of 50kg of AusMin - HiMag supplement per 1 tonne of feed.

Free Access Feeding:-

Offer AusMin – HiMag free access in tubs limiting intake to around 20g/head/day After a period of introduction of around 1 week animals will control their own intake to around 20g per day.

Use one tub for 50 – 60 sheep.

AusMin – HiMag is waterproofed. It is advisable to use tubs (sawn-off 200l drums are ideal) with vertical slits to allow rain water to drain out. If water accumulates in the tub simply pour the water away and the premix beneath with remain quite dry.

Warning!:

• Introduce gradually and monitor intakes until intake stability is achieved
• Take care if animals are hungry as over consumption is possible.
• Only feed to livestock intended.
• Do not use in lamb or beef feedlot diets
